What I Wore

It's been a couple weeks since I've participated in What I Wore Wednesday. To be honest I really miss it! I've noticed that my outfits have become a bit frumpy. I haven't been putting much thought into them and I've fallen back into my sweatshirt/comfy clothes.

It's funny how you put more thought into your outfit when you know you are taking a photo. You may add a little more lipstick, blow dry your hair, or add a cute accessory. This is what I love most about WIWW! Taking the time out of the day to put a little extra thought into my outfits which in return makes me feel a little better about I present myself.

Blouse: Kohl's. Jeans: American Eagle. Flats: small store in CA.

Weather around the midwest has been less than usual! 70-80 degree weather in March is unheard of! However, I would be lying if I said we didn't enjoy it!

I have found it a little hard to transition my outfits as quickly as the season have changed. To go from layers upon layers of clothing to tank tops is a huge transition, and we all know I don't do well with immediate change.

Top & Sandals: Old Navy. Tank: Express. Necklace: Target. Cowl: Snowdrift Designs. Jeans: American Eagle.

However, this week the weather went back to 50-60 degrees. A little more normal for this time of the year. Bummer! Just when I was starting to get use to the warm days. What a summer tease ;)
Off topic, I have this birthday money burning a hole in my wallet, so my question to you is
what are the must haves for spring/summer?

I totally can relate! Most days I am in gym clothes and I do put a lot more thought when I know I will be posting pics but that's what keeps me motivated to stay stylish! Love the floral blouse.

Hi, pretty friend! You look stunning as always. It's so funny that you can't wait for warm weather, and I wish I could be in 40-60 degrees! Trade places? Even better, let's just meet IRL. :-)

hey lisa.. i just came across your blog which i am liking a ton so far...plus you are sooo pretty. i noticed you are from the midwest...just curious where at? i am from wisconsin, so i was feeling ya on the comment about the 70-80s in march..and not back down to 50s-60s.. march was a little bit of a tease, but i knew that was going to happen so i was trying not to get too attached. =)
