Another fantastic weekend came and went! We had a busy weekend that was a lot of fun!
We drove to the big city, every city is considered big around here if
A. It has more than just a Wal-mart
B. Has a shopping mall
C. Has more people than farms
So nonetheless, there aren't many big cities in this area..
After lunch at my all time favorite, Olive Garden, we ventured off to Macy's to write a letter to Santa. For every letter received, Macy's is going to donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation (up to 1 million dollars). They haven't reached 1 million yet, so go write your letters to Santa :)

Ethan loved this! He was so excited to ask Santa for a monster truck tow truck and to put his letter into Santa's mailbox.
After finishing up Christmas shopping we made our way to the holiday light show. If you live in WI you know this was a cold, cold weekend! We froze our butts off, but it was well worth it! Luckily, there was two heated tents. We had to step into them a few times to warm up as walked around and viewed over 2 million lights.

How pretty are all these lights? There were a ton if different displays and Christmas trees set up in the park, along with a choir, a live nativity, Santa and his 8 reindeer [unfortunately, we missed Santa :( ]. My favorite display was the angel wings which read
"I love you all dearly,
"I love you all dearly,
Now don't shed a tear,
I'm spending my Christmas
With Jesus this year."
If you've lost anyone, this is a great way of remembering them during the holiday season.

It's the Gingerbread Man.
Family picture on Santa's sleigh. Don't judge, it was cold and hats just don't fit my odd shape head, ha!
My pictures don't do it justice! Maybe if I had a wide angle lens, you hear that hubby. Here's the website for more details Rotary Lights
